Customer Interaction Ownership: If you are checking in a vehicle, treat it like it’s your own customer and make sure every detail is covered. This means vehicle info, concerns, expectations, accessories, scheduling, contact info, etc. Do not assume someone else already asked all the right questions.
Deposits and follow-up calls: If a customer calls to leave a deposit on a ticket someone else created, either:
fully step in and handle the ticket as if it were your own
get directly with the original salesperson/installer
communicate the details back to the person who created the ticket so they can follow up with the customer.
Zero gaps in communication and zero surprises when the vehicle arrives. Every handoff needs to be intentional.
